My Collection of 1,000 Gamerscore/Platinum Trophies (Update 5/22/12: inFAMOUS 2)

I figured I might as well do something semi-useful with this blog, so I decided to start a collection of the games I’ve gotten all original 1,000 gamerscore (read: not including DLC) and Platinum trophies in, for those who care. How this will work is I’ll basically have a list of these games with just a short tidbit underneath each. Oh, and I’m not counting remakes or HD re-releases.

Oh yeah, and a quick disclaimer: I am not what you would call an achievement whore. I only go after 1,000 gamerscore/Platinum trophies if it seems feasible and/or I like the game enough. I certainly don’t buy games just for the achievements.

Oh wow. Blast from the past.

RIP Smitty Werben Yegger Man Jensen

Just saw Doug’s (Nostalgia Critic) real review of Avengers, and thought he summed up my thoughts on the movie pretty well.

You're only allowed to play one video game series for the rest of your life. No more entries to this series will come out; you're stuck with all of the current ones. What series do you pick and why?

That’s obvious. The Elder Scrolls.

I mean, anyone who’s played the games knows that they can last over 100 hours each, and Skyrim even has repeating Misc. quests, meaning the game could theoretically last forever.

And besides, even if I do somehow get bored of it one day, I’d probably finally get off my lazy ass and do something useful. Like eyebombing inanimate objects. Just like this dude: http://eyebombing.com/

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE INANIMATE OBJECT?

I’m gonna go with a rock. I know, I know. There are many other things I could’ve gone for like a soda can, a game disc, or even a book. But ultimately, I think we can all agree rocks make the best pets.

I don’t think there’s anymore that needs to be said.
